Zane Proposal

For my final project I plan to take photography that evokes an “eerie” or “ominous”  vibes. I plan on taking inspiration from my last project photographer Ralph Eugene Meatyard. This will include things settings such as the woods and indoors. I hope to find abandoned feeling areas and occasionally photographing people. I also plan on included creepy props in the photography mainly antiques and/or masks. Since none of these characteristics of the planned photographs rely on anything that would be a crunch on time I should be able to utilize the span of multiple weeks. I am interested in photographing this because I have always enjoyed photography that matches this description. I also plan on photographing completely in black and white. Along with this I am thinking about adding a hint of color but I am not dead set on this so I may test it out and see if it works or not, I also plan on bumping contrast up so I have bright whites and dark blacks. But this is also up for experimentation so I’m not sure how it will work.
